How ANZ Rewards cards work

Your spending on an ANZ Rewards card earns points you can redeem for gift cards, cashback, flight upgrades and more. Points have an expiry period, so the program rewards regular use.

Types of ANZ Rewards cards

ANZ has several cards tied to the ANZ Rewards program, with different earn rates and benefits. As a rule, the higher the annual fee, the faster you earn and the more benefits you get.

Some ANZ cards earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points instead of ANZ Rewards points, and ANZ also runs a separate suite of cards that don't earn rewards at all. For points you can move to airlines, ANZ partners with Velocity, KrisFlyer and Asia Miles.

Who they suit

Frequent shoppers earn points on everyday spending. Regular travellers can move points to airline partners for flights and upgrades. If you'd rather keep it simple, you can take your rewards as cashback or gift cards.

ANZ Rewards credit card FAQs

No. ANZ doesn't allow you to transfer rewards points to people who don't hold the account.
