Questions and answers
Do the Qantas Points I earn on this card expire if I don't fly for a while?
Qantas Points earned through this card don't expire as long as your Qantas Frequent Flyer account stays active. An account needs at least one points-earning or points-spending transaction every 18 months to stay active, and everyday card spend counts toward that.
That's good to know, thanks. Does an annual fee payment count as a qualifying transaction?
Yes. Any transaction that earns or redeems Qantas Points resets the 18-month clock, and the annual fee charge is a normal purchase on the card, so it counts.
