What's good

  • 110,000 bonus points to start, worth around $1,100 at our 1c-per-point valuation.
  • 12 months at 0% p.a. on balance transfers, longer than the 12-month median (3% transfer fee, reverts to 21.74% p.a.).
  • Complimentary international travel insurance, domestic travel insurance, purchase protection and extended warranty.

  • No foreign transaction fee on overseas or online spending.

Worth noting

  • The $420 annual fee is toward the top of the market (the median is $70).
  • The 20.99% p.a. purchase rate sits in the most expensive quarter of cards (the median is 18.99% p.a.) if you carry a balance.
