Low interest, good for emergencies

I also applied for this type of card because it is a low interest card. It is a card that is recognised wherever I go, and allows me to use it at many convenient ATMs. In general, I’m very happy with this card.

Good deal

I am very pleased with the Visa card, which I have used for over 20 years In Australia and in many places overseas, e.g Britain, Germany, USA, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong New Zealand, and Taiwan. I joined Bank Australia a year or so ago and am very happy with their management.

What's good

  • 6 months at 0% p.a. on balance transfers, shorter than the 12-month median (no transfer fee, reverts to 12.99% p.a.).
  • The 12.99% p.a. purchase rate is among the lowest ongoing purchase rates (the median card charges 18.99% p.a.).
  • No annual fee.
  • No fee to add an additional cardholder.

Worth noting
